Great Sunday!

What an awesome day in the Lord blessed us with! Actually a great weekend!
Yesterday we had a church-wide clean-up and work day. It blessed me to see lots of people working together without complaining and doing so with a smile on their face. Much was accomplished and it was a great time of fellowship. We finished Saturday off by going to look at a boat...yes, yes, you could say Coley still has "boat fever". It was a beautiful drive as we enjoyed the rain and cool temps even though we didn't get home until late. Saturday nights are hard for us to get home late because Sundays are so packed full and begin extra-early.

Today we had an awesome day at church- prayer service was incredible as people poured out their hearts to the Lord. We had lunch with some friends and came home for about 3 hours before heading back to church for 4 river baptisms. So neat to witness! Little Tanner (as the girls call him) our friends Kim and Randy son, was among the four to be baptized. I was at the hospital the day he was born and while that was exciting and amazing - I have to tell you that being there to witness his public profession of his faith in Jesus Christ was well AMAZING! I tried to hold it together, but it was just too much. They were great tears though! We finished up the day with a BBQ to celebrate with all of the families. Okay - yes so we are exhausted, but it was a great day!

This morning Paige and a few other kiddos were chasing each other in the church when Paige ran into a door and began to cry. Coley was trying to explain to her why she is not supposed to be running in the church when she looked at him and said "this isn't the church - we are the church!" (with much dramatic 5-yr old emphasis) Coley about died laughing - he smiled and said you are right - we are the church - however you still can't run inside this building. :)

We also found out on Friday at her 5 year check-up that she has grown 3 inches in the past year and is in the 80th precentile for height and weight. Amazing! The dr. also discovered that the ear tube in her right ear is still in place. Crazy because we were told when she was 3 that both of them had come out. So now we are going to have to have surgery to remove it. I was a little frustrated ;) as I had to cancel swimming lessons, etc. until we get all of this figured out. We will find out more this week on that...and more about her ankle as we have two appointments for that...

Landri, Landri, Landri - she is so low-key, free spirited, and easy going that unless she is low on sleep life is good! She is still my snuggle bug. She ate 5 banana peppers Friday afternoon right out of the garden. I told her that if she didn't stop eating them she was going to be making a "banana pepper run" - she asked me "run where?" To which I replied "to the potty!" She just laughed and carried on as usual. She loves to pretend with Paige and this weekend has been squawking like a hawk. She is a.k.a. "Diego" (she picked out that pretend name) and has no problem correcting you on her name.
